Sports After Camp
This camp runs immediately following baseball or softball boot camp. From 12:00PM-12:30PM they’ll sit down for lunch. During this time we’ll have sports videos quietly playing in the background- “Dude Perfect” trick shots are usually a favorite if you are familiar with them. After lunch is cleaned up and everyone has washed their hands, they’ll return back to playing games on the turf. They’ll play different games ranging from dodgeball, soccer, football, badminton, wiffle ball, etc.. At 3PM everyone will gather in the back for their final snack. For the remaining time period, we will have a movie playing in the background – we will have a movie schedule available for all of the summer so parents can see what the movie of each day is. These movies will have either a “G” or “PG” rating and will include animated classics and sports movie favorites. Campers are welcome to bring activity booklets to work on during this time as well, but this time period is to focus on rest and recovery after a day of play. Weather permitting they may go outside for a small portion of this period as well.

What Will Their Day Look Like?
Our day begins with a drop off period from 8:30AM-9:00AM. During this time our baseball campers will be out on the turf with our coaches playing a variety of sports games until everyone has arrived at 9AM. From 9-9:15 they’ll do a dynamic warm up- if the weather is nice we’ll have them outside for this on turf outside behind the building. At 9:15 we’ll sit everyone down on the turf and go over the rules and expectations of the day. At 9:20AM they’ll divide into groups for their camps and begin their circuits. On hitting days they’ll utilize our Hittrax machines- a special tool that shows campers on a screen where their hit would have landed and how far it went relative to a baseball diamond. This will also keep track of specific baseball measurements including exit velocity, distance, launch angle, etc.. They’ll focus on all the different aspects of baseball; primarily hitting and fielding. About halfway through the morning they’ll stop for a 15 minute snack and water break. Baseball camp and Junior Baseball Camp runs from 9am-12pm.
Pick up from just baseball camp is right at 12PM.
