Each Fall and Winter TPA offers our Velocity Development Program (VDP).
This class is designed to help players strengthen the muscles and ligaments in their arm, with the result being increased throwing velocity and decreased chance of injury. This is a Driveline program that focuses on the following:
-Arm Strength and Mechanical Patterning
-Throwing Range of Motion
-Improving Rate of Force Development
-Reorganizing Proprioception for the Mound
Athletes will also go through a movement screening during the first week of classes so coaches can adjust drills to fit the specific needs of each individual.
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or check back for updates on our upcoming VDP class!
TPA boasts not one, but two HitTrax machines. This technology simulates game-play on an actual baseball or softball field. In addition to being able to see where the ball would go on a field, athletes can see their distance, exit velocity, and much more.
Friday Night Fights The Friday Night Fights tournament allows athletes to compete against other teams from across the country every Friday night! To learn more or to sign up for a time slot, please contact us at email@example.com or 919.303.1687
Be on the lookout for more HitTrax tournaments, leagues, and camps coming soon! In the meantime, you can request a private baseball or softball lesson in one of our HitTrax cages by contacting the TPA front desk.
